Our Collectible Copper Coin Rings
We added a set of expertly crafted collectible copper coin rings to our inventory. In this post, we're going to talk about this line of jewelry as a whole.
The copper coin rings were individually made from collectible coin rounds. These rounds were not legal tender; they were collectible pieces used to create distinctive coin rings. Each design offered a piece of Americana that could be worn and enjoyed.
To make the designs really stand out, we gave the rings a dark patina finish. Because copper jewelry can sometimes leave a green mark on the skin, depending on the wearer's body chemistry, we sealed our copper rings with a clear powder coat.
Want to see how we make our coin rings? We have a blog post about that, too. See how CoinCrafters handcrafts a coin ring.
The Four Copper Coin Ring Designs
This collection included four different designs:
- Liberty or Death — inspired by Patrick Henry's famous "Liberty or Death" phrase.
- The Last Laugh — a Memento Mori design centered on the reminder to "Remember Death."
- $100 Banknote — a design featuring imagery inspired by the $100 bill and Benjamin Franklin.
- Don't Tread on Me — a design inspired by the historic Gadsden flag.
These copper designs were part of CoinCrafters' growing collection of handcrafted coin jewelry and helped inspire additional versions of some of these designs in other precious metals.
